Written Prescription
Patients may bring a written prescription to our mailing address or have it mailed directly from your office.
Controlled substances require original written prescription per state law
Controlled Substance Prescribing
Direct Scripts is DEA-registered and licensed to dispense controlled substances in accordance with applicable federal and state regulations.
Schedule II controlled substances require an original written prescription or a valid electronic prescription transmitted through a DEA-compliant e-prescribing system. Fax copies are not accepted for Schedule II medications.
For Schedules III–V, we accept fax, phone, and e-prescribe. Please ensure all required prescriber information is included, including DEA number and NPI.
